..incredibly well-drilled and yet somehow also thrillingly sloppy..

The Revolutionary Arts Ensemble is a music/art project that sets itself unusual tasks and presents the weird results to whomever has the ears and eyes to digest the ensuing brew.  Imagine a strange parallel universe where Brötzmann’s latest release was in the top 40; and 1966 Coltrane was played on Radio Hauraki’s No Repeat Fridays, well, the Ensemble could be a weird version of Brooker T and the MG’s in that noisy universe.
